Paradise Cove Hike

This is a more advanced hike. If you have a toddler I highly recommend bringing a carrier of some type. The terrain is steep in some spots and can be slippery when crossing the stream. We will be bringing our Osprey back carrier for baby and some waterproof duck suits that can go over our gear. There is a stream along the trail which leads to a pond. If you or your child get wet it can be cold still. A change of clothes is a good idea for this one. The pond is deep in spots but it is not safe to jump or dive into!! There are some steep edges at some spots, and younger children should be monitored closely on this one. If our younger kids struggle too much, we may not make it all the way to the end, but we will enjoy the bits we can and have fun exploring. Please bring water, snacks and your nature journals if you prefer.
