Join us for Project Pockets: Pockets of Safety — a creative, community art project exploring the spaces, objects, and memories that help us feel safe. Just like the small pockets we carry close to us, this project invites you to reflect on the ‘pockets’ of safety in your own life.
This workshop will take place at the old Clinton card shop in the market hall.
Through art, writing, and shared stories, we will create a collective installation that represents the hidden strengths, treasured keepsakes, and everyday things that bring comfort, security, and belonging. Whether it’s a lucky charm, a powerful word, or a memory that makes you feel at home — what would you carry in your pocket of safety?
Who’s it for?
Open to all ages — individuals, families, schools, and community groups.

Come along, create your own ‘pocket of safety,’ and contribute to a powerful community display celebrating resilience, connection, and care.
