*This camp is open to any student that has taken the Beginners camp OR participated on an FLL team last year to better your skills for the upcoming season

Beginning Spike Prime Robotics Camp: FIRST LEGO League Challenge "World Class"

This summer, students in our Beginning Spike Prime Robotics Camp will embark on an exciting journey as they participate in a FIRST LEGO League Challenge competition, coming from the "World Class" season. Designed for young engineers and aspiring robotics enthusiasts, the camp will provide a hands-on experience where students will apply the fundamentals of engineering, programming, and robotics they learned in the beginner camp.

Throughout the camp, students will be introduced to the Spike Prime robotics system, exploring its components and capabilities. They will work collaboratively in teams to brainstorm, design, and build innovative robots capable of completing various challenges inspired by the "World Class" theme.

The camp will emphasize key concepts, such as:

• Problem-Solving: Students will engage in real-world scenarios that require critical thinking and creative solutions.
• Programming Skills: Campers will code their robots in Python, enhancing their understanding of robotics and automation through a popular programming language.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: By working in diverse groups, students will develop communication skills and learn the importance of collaboration in achieving common goals.

As part of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge, participants will face a series of missions that will test their robots' abilities in areas such as navigation, object manipulation, and teamwork. The excitement will culminate in a friendly competition where teams showcase their robots, demonstrating the skills and knowledge they acquired during the camp.

The Beginning Spike Prime Robotics Camp not only equips students with technical skills but also fosters a passion for STEM, creativity, and innovation.
