Beginning Spike Prime Robotics Camp: FIRST LEGO League Challenge "World Class"

*This camp is open to any student that has taken the Beginners camp OR participated on an FLL team last year to better your skills for the upcoming season

In this summer students from our Beginning Spike Prime Robotics Camp will embark on an exciting journey as they participate in a FIRST LEGO League Challenge competition, coming from the "World Class" season. Designed for young engineers and aspiring robotics enthusiasts, the camp will provide a hands-on experience where students will use what they have learned in the beginners camp using the fundamentals of engineering, programming and robotics.

Throughout the camp, students were introduced to the Spike Prime robotics system, where they explored its components and capabilities. Now they will work collaboratively in teams to brainstorm, design, and build innovative robots capable of completing various challenges inspired by the "World Class" theme.

The camp will emphasize key concepts, such as:

• Problem-Solving: Students engage in real-world scenarios that require critical thinking and creative solutions.
• Programming Skills: Campers will use what they learned to code their robots using graphical programming tools, enhancing their understanding of robotics and automation.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: By working in diverse groups, students will develope communication skills and learn the importance of collaboration in achieving common goals.

As part of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge, participants willface a series of missions that will test their robots' abilities in areas such as navigation, object manipulation, and teamwork. The excitement will culminate in a friendly competition where teams showcased their robots, demonstrating the skills and knowledge they acquired during the camp.

The Beginning Spike Prime Robotics Camp not only equipped students with technical skills but also fostered a passion for STEM, creativity, and innovation.
