Is religion the problem or the solution?

Our next Pub Theology will be on Aug 19th at Barefoot Burger.
We will consider the question, "Is religion the problem or the solution." Throughout history, religion has been used in both positive and negative ways. We will discuss if the nature of religion itself is essential to people's lives or if religion causes more problems than solves.
This conversation will be a safe space to hold questions people may have on this topic, as well as share our own beliefs and perspectives while simultaneous holding space to receive and listen to others beliefs and perspectives.
Pub Houses have always been gathering spaces in communities. People have crowded around tables to share a cold beverage and to discuss things that matter the most in their lives. Oftentimes these conversations center around philosophy, politics, morality, and theology. We strive to have conversations without conversion while also deepening our faith and spirituality. There is no need to RSVP (Drinking alcoholic beverage is absolutely not important to participating in this event.)
