SATURDAY
Local favourite, Gez Gold will be opening the proceedings at 4pm, followed by Hunky Dory at 8.30pm, performing the music of David Bowie and more.
Food will be available in the evening, provided by the Bruderhof.
SUNDAY
Local covers band, Lamplight will be playing from 1pm, followed by country music and 50s Rock 'n' Roll from JB Standen at 4.30pm.
BEERS
ABK Hell - ABK Hell Lager is a light, bright and very satisfying beer. It is lightly golden with a bubbly, medium white head that steadily shrinks to a thin foamy lace. The aroma is soft and sweet with grain and very flowery hops. The taste is full bodied grain with lots of green apple and light but persistent hints of pine and herbs, with a light bitterness that persists through to the finish.
ABK Weissbier - A top fermented fruity, aromatic and lively, full-bodied beer. With a wonderful honey yellow colour and a strong foam generation. Our wheat beer has a natural yeast cloudiness with a yeast sediment. Easy drinking with soft floral flavours.
Hofmeister - A multi-award winning, authentic Bavarian lager, Hofmeister Helles is exactly the beer you crave after a long day. Slow brewed colder and longer in the heart of Bavaria with just mineral water, locally sourced barley and hops, this Helles is crisp and refreshing with character too. Sweet digestive biscuit and honey is followed by the tingle of floral and spicy hop bitterness and a snappy finish.
Erdinger Weissbier - Erdinger Weissbier combines gentle spicy malt aromas with mildly bitter hops for an elegant flavour. Brewed since 1886 using traditional Bavarian skills, its secret lies in our fine brewing yeasts, which add fruity notes and a fresh taste.
For this year's Oktoberfest, the committee have decided that all the proceeds from door entry will be specifically allocated to the refurbishment of the member's bar, which is planned to commence in the new year.
