“In the stillness of trees, I am home” - Wendell Berry.
Since 2018, Lisa Whitehouse has been guiding forest yoga and mindfulness sessions in the heart of Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, a place where nature feels like home.
From Autumn 2025, we're excited for Lisa to offer forest bathing walks, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku.
These friendly sessions last 2.5 hours and are perfect for beginners and open to all. No experience or special equipment is needed, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to slow down. Group sizes are kept small for a more personal experience.
"Each session will be suitable for anyone interested in a gentle approach to feeling happier and healthier in a natural outdoor environment. I will guide you through the woodland using our full range of senses. Surrounded by 3,500 acres of beautiful pinetum and forest, we will develop mindfulness skills by noticing the small wonders of nature and the calming influence on our nervous system" - Lisa Whitehouse.
More dates to be confirmed for Spring 2026.
