Every year we support a great weekender called Grill N Chill.
This has proved super popular due to the relaxed nature of the event. Unfortunately it’s not going ahead this year. After chatting to numerous disappointed people, we thought it would be a good idea to organise our own weekender.
We have picked the same weekend as many would have already it booked or in their diary to attend.
The site we have chosen can cater for large groups (great personal & online reviews).
We also wanted to be able to offer camping with decent facilities and this one has a Takeaway 🥡 Cafe, a licensed bar 🍻 (you can still bring your own) Toilets 🚽 and a shower 🚿 block.
It’s priced at £15 per person per night (children are less). This is out of season so the site will be fairly quiet 👌
Considering the facilities this is a great price for a weekend away. We can have the pitch from 10am on Friday without electric (extra charge) or from noon with.
There is a few local pubs, a river and Bodium Castle, all of which we will take in on our scenic ride out on Saturday (route and more info soon).
There is also the idea of a ride out to Source BMX Park, which has to be discussed and confirmed as it’s a 20 mile round trip. This could obviously be done in vehicles. 🚗
We will have our Marquee there for a little music set up and bike display and will hold a show and shine on the Sunday. I believe it’s also possible to come for the day for a lower fee (again to be confirmed)
