American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course w/ EMPLOYEE INCENTIVE!

(Ages 15+) This course will be held:

Wednesday, July 9th 5:00pm-9:00pm
Friday, July 11th 6:00pm-9:00pm
Saturday, July 12th 8:00am-4:00pm
Sunday, July 13th 8:00am-3:00pm

(All classes are mandatory and held at the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA, unless otherwise noted.)

This course is designed to educate and certify upcoming guards on the appropriate skills needed to be a lifeguard. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive their certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR / AED for the Professional Rescuer.

Employee Lifeguard Incentive:

For the July Lifeguard Class at the Rose E. Schneider Family Y, participants will pay $100 *($125 for non-members) upfront for the course. Upon passing the course, if they apply and work for the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA, then WE WILL COVER THE REMAINING BALANCE ($175)! If the participant does not work for us, they must pay the balance of $175 before they will receive their certification.

A pre-swim test will be held on the first night of class; participants who do not pass the swim test will be refunded 75% of course costs.
