Craig River Park Community Sneak Peek

As the project is wrapping up construction, Craig Parks & Recreation invites the community for an exclusive sneak peek event to showcase project progress and what’s to come with the Craig River Park opening in 2026. The Craig River Park is about giving Craig families a beautiful, accessible place to gather, play and reconnect with the Yampa River. It’s being built with the local community in mind---- to feature nature-based play areas, trails, and public park space that will be free and open to all.

Registered participants will meet at the main parking lot of Loudy Simpson Park to catch a shuttle to the project site. Please note that the park is still an active construction project site and is not open for general use. Accessibility is limited and there are inherent risks with entering a construction area. A liability waiver for the event will need to be completed in order to participate in the Community Sneak Peek.
