Great news for comedy fans following on from our latest show! The Comedy Social is back at Northwood House…so grab some friends, prime your giggle muscles and get ready for our next instalment….and what a line up we have for you! So without further ado we welcome the following belly busters!
Here he is...your Headliner (and its a huge one!) RUSSEL HICKS:
Russell Hicks is one of the UK’s most razor-sharp and exciting comic talents. An American based in London, he is a provocative and exuberant comedian known for his masterful improvisation, and has appeared on some of the UK’s biggest TV networks, including Channel 4, BBC and ITV. Fresh from winning the Prague Fringe Festival 2024, Russell is on tour across the UK. This will be a performance not to be missed and we cannot wait to welcome Russel to Northwood House this May where his official UK tour comes to it's finale!
And also introducing MATT ROUSE:
With his engaging comic style and captivating stage presence, Matt Rouse is a new name making big moves in stand up.
Already winner of the respected Hastings Fringe New Act Competition and nominated for the BBC New Comedy Awards, the rising star has become known for his fresh viewpoint and cleverly packaged strong material.
In 2023, Matt performed stand-up on the BAFTA-winning The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan (C4).
His mix of infectious charm and sharp wit is fast securing his position as a major new talent to watch.

Resident MC for the Portsmouth Guildhall (LOL comedy), Black Cherry Theatre (fortnightly), regular MC for Bournemouth Pavillion (LOL comedy) and occasional MC for Manfords comedy club Southampton and Wedgewood rooms in Portsmouth (Off the Kerb).
