We are delighted to welcome opera stars Harry Kersley and Belinda Williams to Cowes Fringe 25. Performing together for the first time, they will take us on a breathtaking journey into the rich and emotive art form that is opera accompanied by island bred James Longford.
International star soprano Belinda Williams studied at the Royal Academy of Music Opera Course, and gave her Wigmore Hall debut recital at age 26. Belinda then went on to forge a successful operatic career in Germany and was picked to be Bayreuth Wagner Scholar.
Belinda has recently appeared as Gerhilde for the British Wagner Society alongside Sir John Tomlinson, and travels to France this summer to reprise the role of Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at Opera de Baugé. In 2021 she was named the Women's Radio Classical Woman of the Year, and once sang Italian opera hits on the Alan Titchmarsh Show.
Harry is a highly sought-after classical singer across The UK which has given him the opportunities to perform at arena venues and to VIP guests including members of The British, Saudi and Bahraini royal family.
Outside of Harry’s opera career, Harry has a passion for the classical crossover and music theatre repertoire which has given him opportunities to sing at celebrated venues across the UK including 10 Downing Street, Annabels, The Savoy, The NED, The Natural History Museum and Alnwick Castle to name a few. A recent notable performance was at The Nottingham Motorpoint Arena to 10,000 people for the featherweight boxing world championship title.
To add to his performance portfolio, Harry was also given the opportunity to be a judge on the BBC One Show: All Together Now alongside Spice Girl, Geri Horner. He is now represented by Andrew Harding Management for all future musical theatre and television contracts.
