Considering Classics

Listen to a Children’s Librarian read aloud a “classic” picture book before we discuss our observations. Then voting will determine if our group thinks the book still deserves to be considered a classic.

This series will help children develop their critical thinking and social skills. Inspired by the podcast Fuse 8 n’ Kate.

Ages 7 and older with adult.

October 23: Shrek by William Steig
October 30: Little Blue and Little Yellow by Leo Lionni
November 6: Apple Pie 4th of July by Janet S. Wong
November 13: The Story of Babar, the Little Elephant by Jean de Brunhoff
November 20: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs by Judi Barrett
