Up Close & Acoustic with Rob Halligan

An evening of music and chat presented by CVFolk

This is the first of a new series of events by CV Folk, offering a glimpse into the ‘inside story’ of leading acts on the local folk circuit. This month we explore the remarkable music and influences of Coventry's folk-rock singer-songwriter, Rob Halligan. The informal format of the evening makes use the excellent skills of local folk personality, musician and podcaster, Bill Bates who will introduce Rob, interview him and encourage questions and discussion about his music and inspiration. Many of Rob’s songs reflect his wide-ranging life experiences, from turbulent teens to journeys of faith and redemption, and include his direct involvement in the relief of childhood poverty with the Coventry-based charity, Global Care.

Tickets are £14.50 (£10.50 concessions, incl students and pensioners), bookable in advance from the Box Office.
