Diwali Sip and Paint - Empowered Desi and Sugar & Spice

Join us this Diwali at SUGAR AND SPICE to celebrate the festival of light for SIP AND PAINT by painting your own diya candle! Release your creativity and sparkle by unleashing your artistic side while sipping on cocktails and indulging on desi snacks, and enjoying the festivities of Diwali to celebrate new beginnings, in collaboration with THE EMPOWERED DESI, founded by CoventryLive journalist Priyanka Patel.

Since it's Diwali, it is highly encouraged to dress up in your preferred South Asian attire which we would love to see. Whether it's a shalwar kameez, lengha or sari, you choose or if you want to dazzle your outfit with stunning jewellery, go for it!

All attendees will get the chance to take home their own jewellery from pretty jhumkas to bangles, as well as take their artistic creation home! All materials including the diya, paint and paintbrushes included.

This in-person event will be a fun-filled exprience to celebrate Diwali with like-minded South Asians in an inclusive community space.
