Come and join Spires Music's celebration of 20 years of music making at home in Coventry and abroad in a concert that also celebrates the life of Spires Music's founder and artistic director, Colin Touchin.

Brahms' Academic Festival Overture opens the afternoon's concert in a rousing transformation of student songs in to a masterpiece of orchestral colour and celebration. Following this is another work by Brahms, his Schiksalslied or Song of Destiny, perfectly formed and exquisite to listen to. After the interval comes Beethoven's monumental Choral Symphony, one of Spires Music's first works to be performed and promises to be as epic and triumphant as ever.
