Abortion is essential healthcare! Join us in a pro-choice rally on Cliffe Ave in Courtenay this Sunday, October 5 at 1:30pm. This is a peaceful protest to an anti-abortion event called Life Chain that will likely be gathering outside of Driftwood Mall on this day. We will set up across the street, in front of A&W.
Let's stand up for our reproductive rights in Canada and voice our support for those in the US and elsewhere who are being denied access to safe abortions.
Everyone is welcome! Bring your family, friends, posters (we also have a bunch to share if you don't have time to make one!), instruments, water, snacks etc.
