Claude has a B.Sc. in Agriculture, with a major in horticulture. He has worked as a landscape consultant for many commercial and private projects. He worked many years at Bota and Fantasy Gardens as Assistant Manager of Horticultural Operations. Recently he retired from working 27 years as the Parks Department Horticultural Manager for the City of New Westminster. He gives courses and lectures at Van Dusen Botanic Gardens in Vancouver, he is a Judge at various Flower Shows, and shares his knowledge and passion for the garden with many Horticultural and Garden clubs.
There will be an open discussion with the attendees during the talk and Claude will give some creative solutions and ideas through photographs. We will review containers, soils, fruit, vegetables and flowering plants. So, bring your questions about container gardening and growing flowers, fruits and vegetables in your urban garden!
