Preventing Diabetes

Preventing Diabetes is a class for people with fasting blood glucose between 100-125 or A1C between 5.7-6.4. A third of the people with blood sugar in this range will develop diabetes within 3 years. Join our free class and learn how to reduce your risk of developing diabetes. There is no cost for the class, but you must pre-register as space is limited.

This 2-hour class focuses on information that will introduce you to ways to reduce your risk of developing diabetes. Some topics covered: healthy eating, the basics of carb-counting, becoming more active, establishing SMART goals for prevention.
