Join me to experience a Tibetan Singing Bowl Sound Bath, you can experience the delightful resonance of the singing bowls by reserving one of the hanging cocoons and experiencing an Aerial Sound Bath, or you may reserve a spot on the floor. Cocoons reservations are limited to 6.
What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are "bathed" in sound waves produced by various instruments including singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and more. During a sound bath, people either lie down on the floor or will be held in a silky material cocoon above the floor. You will be immersed in sounds from various instruments allowing your brain waves to slow down and shift from a more active state to a relaxed or dreamlike state. The goal of such experience is to invite deep relaxation so that you may let go of stress, anxiety and other worries.
What to bring:
~ Yoga mat - (if you will be experiencing the sound bath on the floor). If you are experience the sound bath in a cocoon, you do not need a yoga mat
~ Blanket
~ Headrest or small pillow (if preferred)
~ Water
Please arrive free of perfumes and colognes.
Location:
Harvester Artist lofts Gallery - 1000 S. Main St.
The sound bath is inside the Harvester building in the gallery.
Parking:
There is plenty of parking on the street on either 10th Ave. or Main St.
When you arrive, enter through the door on 10th ave. and come straight into the gallery where the event will be held.
We will start promptly at 6:30 so please arrive a few minutes early so that you may settle in.
