Emerald Sanctuary is a BellyDance camp, offering dance, music and movement workshops with world class instructors, in the wild and serene oasis of Sun Lakes State Park. Enjoy live music provided by members of House of Tarab to dance and perform to. Start your days with morning movement offerings, take a variety of BellyDance classes throughout the day, and in your ample free time, relax, explore, swim, shop, and hang out with old and new friends. Don’t miss the Floatie Flotilla on Deep Lake, and be sure to grab some folks to take a #walkinselfie. Hug many friends while at Emerald Sanctuary and enjoy our evening Haflas offering an enriching BellyDance experience second to none.
Workshops will be varied to cover several concepts and styles, allowing you to try out and take home new ideas for your dance. Workshops range from earthy to refined and all workshops are designed for dancers of all levels and abilities. New this year: Check-out time will be in the evening on Sunday, allowing us to offer more classes!
Camp amenities include shared cabins (with AC!) or space for your tent in the meadow. The facility features a full commercial kitchen complete with walk-in refrigerator, freezers, ice machine and everything you need to use to cook. Hot showers are always available in the shared bathhouses. Emerald Sanctuary is held at Camp Delaney in beautiful Central WA: We book an entire private retreat facility to fill with BellyDancers and all the BellyDance tagalongs we can bring - kids, partners and non-participating friends are welcome!
Work Scholarships are available through our ‘Werker Bee Program’ for those interested in attending Retreat in exchange for manual labor and help at camp.

*Camp Delaney is inside of Sun Lakes State Park Washington*. Sun Lakes state Park has various swimming lakes, a mini market, coffee, ice cream and drive-in style food, gift shop, mini golf & a 9 hole golf course.
