Call for Artists:
“Rock, Paper, Scissors”
- A Juried Exhibition
We invite artists to submit work for an upcoming juried exhibition inspired by the deceptively simple yet symbolically rich theme: Rock, Paper, Scissors.
Known universally as a game of chance, strategy, and resolution, it also offers a poetic framework for exploring materiality, duality, vulnerability, and power.
This theme opens the door to both literal and abstract interpretations. Artists are encouraged to consider the tension and balance between elements – hard and soft, permanent, and fragile, force and flexibility.
Works in all media are welcome – from painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, fiber, and works on paper – that engage with the material or metaphysical properties of the show title.
Submissions in all 2D and 3D mediums are welcome. No size restriction.
Submission date Monday, October 13, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Up to 3 artworks per artist may be submitted. Submission Fee: $10 CCftA member/ $15 non-members
