About the Artist
David Phillips: New Work, Process and Exploration

This exhibition presents work I created over the past five years, a period beginning with my move to Cape Cod and establishing a new studio. While my earlier career was focused on public art and collaborations with architects, this recent body of work emerges from a more personal studio-based setting. Working with materials such as paper, beach stones, copper, bronze, and other diverse media I continue exploring form, texture, and special relationships ---now at a more intimate scale, extending the language of my earlier practice.
