Entry Fees: $10 per vehicle (1 person),
$20 per vehicle (2-4 people),
Shower Fees: $5 per person for those who want to freshen up so the can drive directly to all the other events happening in the valley that evening.
What’s Planned:
Hiking: Explore over 20 miles of scenic trails, including the Verde River Greenway and the Lime Kiln Trail, offering stunning views of the Verde Valley and access to the Coconino National Forest.
Trails range from easy loops like the Canopy Trail to challenging routes for all skill levels.
Paddle Boarding: Bring your paddle boards or kayaks for a relaxing float along the Verde River or the park’s three fishing lagoons.
The river’s calm waters are perfect for paddling, with beautiful riparian scenery and wildlife sightings like river otters and eagles.
Details:We’ll carpool from the Tempe Stake Building at 8:00 AM. Please arrive on time and coordinate with the group for ride-sharing.
The park offers ample parking, modern restrooms, and a Ranger Station for info and supplies.
Bring water, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, and your paddle board gear.
Pets are welcome but must be leashed.
