GENERAL TIMELINE
7:00 AM: Start gathering at 6570 South Wasatch Blvd meeting place. You have a window of 15 minutes to arrive at our meeting place.
7:15 AM: Leave our meeting place and drive to the trailhead
7:35 AM: Arrive at the trailhead (this varies for each hike)
12 Noon: Off the trail (this too can vary)

This moderately challenging hike is out-and-back with a small return loop near the top at the Wasatch Mine.
Miles: 5.90
Elevation Gain: 1946 ft
I suggest carpooling from the Holladay Park & Ride. Parking space at the trailhead is limited. Some roadside parking is available. Our hike will be a shortened and modified version of the AllTrails “Mineral Fork Trail” (see AllTrails Map & Stats link above).
We hiked this trail last May when melting run-off and threatening weather conditions cut short our adventure. I have been assured by more experienced hikers that bushwacking and knee-deep stream crossings will not be an issue this time around! The water level at stream crossings is only a few inches this time of year. Hope you come along!
