Hey Folks,
We know we are breaking our own rules by using a poster with a nod to Christmas, and we haven't even celebrated Thanksgiving yet, but our December gig is at the beginning of the month and we wanted to get out in front of it so y'all can fit us into your busy holiday schedules. Now, we thought about using a Thanksgiving theme, but the focus group found it confusing, and we looked a bit harsh dressed as pilgrims. We even wore scarlet letters and made a pun with the name Nathaniel Haw-Thorne, but the focus group didn't know the reference except for one kinda pervy dude who was obsessed with Demi Moore, who was in a movie based on the novel in the 90's. So, we trashed that idea and went with putting a Santa hat on Maureen O'Hara, called it a day and went for a pint.
Speaking of pints, Trooper Thorn is playing at The Harp Inn on Sunday, December 7, 3pm to 7pm, and there will be all kinds of pints there. There is also great food, a friendly staff, good music and dozens of Dad jokes from the band. So, come on down and start off your holiday month with the band who put the Chris in Xmas. See you there!
This Just In! The Harp Inn has announced that this gig will also be their annual Christmas Party, complete with a Toy Drive for the Boys and Girls Club. So, please bring an unwrapped gift if you can and join in the celebration. The band will attempt to keep the cursing at a minimum, or at least just mumble the really bad words.
