We have two great speakers planned for our September meeting who are with Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) of California. They are Erik Landesfeind, the new Regional Director of Central California and Tonie Bangos, SoCal Regional Director.
Erik Landesfeind has spent the last 35+ years fishing the waters off Southern California and Baja. His extensive and varied fishing experiences up and down the coastline make him extremely knowledgeable about our fisheries; whether its inshore chasing Calico Bass or offshore running down Bluefin foamers, Erik has done it all.
Tonie Bangos is the SoCal Regional Director for CCA California and is a seasoned angler in the SoCal Sportboat fishery. Having worked on fishing boats ranging from San Diego all the way to Alaska, Tonie is well-versed and skilled in the fishing scene. She has quickly established herself as one of the most prominent female anglers in Southern California.
CCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving, promoting, and enhancing coastal resources for public benefit and aims to protect marine resources, promote sustainable fishing practices, and ensure access to coastal areas for recreational anglers.
Erik and Tonie will talk about CCA's latest activities and how we can get involved to help support CCA's efforts. These two have lots to talk about so please join us!!
