Participants will leave having an understanding of the reality of wilderness emergencies, how to avoid them, and how to prepare. We will cover the mindset, skills and gear needed for superior performance during a wilderness emergency. Don't rely on reality television shows for your wilderness emergency knowledge. Hear first hand what it takes to survive!

Instructor Bio:
Andrew Herrington, is a wilderness survival instructor, a wildlife ranger in the Smokies, and the team leader for Team BUSAR, a backcountry search and rescue team that operates in the Smokies. With over 25 years experience, he combines his experience roaming the wilds and rescuing others to prepare you for your outdoor adventures.
