Upcoming Mid-Valley Belly Dance Collective show is Sunday, December 14th, 6-8 pm, at the Corvallis Old World Deli (341 SW 2nd St.).
There is no fee for dancers or audience, but tips in a basket (on a table or corner of the stage) are welcome and we encourage dancers and guests to make a $5 purchase from the venue. This is not technically a guild so there is no fee or exact way to "join" other than liking the Facebook group. The group is known as The Mid Valley Dance Collective.
Dancers will need to bring their music on cd or device. If using a phone, please have the music downloaded and put the phone into airplane mode.
There is a small dressing area to the side of the stage. The stage is about 12 feet deep by 15 feet wide but feels tighter because It's raised off the ground about 4 ft and there's no railing along the front. This also makes walking through the audience as an intro is not very conducive as you will have to climb steps to get to the stage. Dance spot sign-ups will be done at 5:30 (dancer arrival time). Show starts at 6 p.m.
Time spots are 7 Minutes for Soloists, 10 minutes for troupes.
