Open group auditions for the Student Lab Winter 2026 production of I Met The Baba Yaga (And She Lives In Tennessee) play will be held November 30th and December 2nd at 6:00 pm in the Withycombe Hall Lab Theatre (WITH 173).
Addison Hoppe’s I Met The Baba Yaga (And She Lives In Tennessee) follows a teen, Maurie, who has just moved to Tennessee in the middle of Covid. They struggle to navigate friendship in a new place and their desire to take control of their story. The play is a biting meta-comedy about how we tell stories sprinkled with Russian folklore that centers around themes of belonging.
No need to prepare anything for the audition! You will be given sides from the script for “warm reads,” in which you will have a little time during the audition to prepare before auditioning with the script in your hand.
Auditions are open to all students, staff, faculty, and community members!
Follow the link in the ticketing field to access the online audition form.
