Amore Organ Series

The Amore Music Series, featuring Craig Hanson, our organist in residence, and other fine guest performers. These concerts will serve as one of our church’s outreach efforts for the Corvallis community and as a showcase for our wonderful Noak tracker pipe organ.

The series is in two parts: Monthly noontime organ recitals, and seasonal chamber music concerts. The noontime recitals take place on the third Wednesday of each month from 12:15 to 12:45 PM. They are given by Craig Hanson as well as by other guest artists. The chamber music concerts are held three or four times a year on Sunday afternoons and consist primarily of organ in combination with other instruments.

Craig Hanson notes, “The third Wednesday organ concerts will give the opportunity for anyone who wishes to momentarily escape the fast pace of modern life and be transported to another more beautiful and spiritual time and place. We are very fortunate to have such a fine instrument in Corvallis, and it is my hope that more and more people will have the opportunity to be moved by its beauty.” All concerts are open to the general public and are free of charge with donations to support the series welcome.
