Walk the Walk with the YWCA

Walk: starts at 10:00 am at the YWCA (14 Clayton Ave., Cortland)
Open House: opens at 10:30 in the Multi-Purpose Room
Registration: $10 per person ($15 on event day)
T-shirts: $15 per person (deadline TBA soon)

YWCA Cortland is launching its newest fundraiser to support all those YWCA Cortland serves in the community.

The 4K walk will begin at the main facility on Clayton Ave, travel along Main St., and N. Main St. to Homer Ave., passing our Here We Grow early learning child care center along the way. The walk will proceed to the turnaround point at the Grace Brown House, a permanent supportive housing facility where our Aid to Victims of Violence Program provides services to women domestic violence survivors and their children. The return route follows Groton Ave. and ends back at Clayton Ave.

An open house will follow the walk so community members can learn about all YWCA services provided through its four programs: Aid to Victims of Violence, Child Care, Health & Fitness, and Mentoring.
