Are you curious about the art of wheel throwing but hesitant to commit to a full course? Our Wheel Throwing Intro Course is a perfect opportunity to dip your toes into the world of pottery without a long-term commitment. This two-session class is designed for beginners who want to explore the fundamentals of wheel throwing before delving deeper.

MAIN TOPICS COVERED:

· SESSION 1: In the first session, you'll dive into the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. Guided by experienced instructors, you'll learn essential techniques, including centering, opening, pulling, and shaping clay on the wheel. Through hands-on practice, you'll gain confidence as you create your first wheel-thrown pieces.

· SESSION 2: Once your creations have reached the leather-hard stage, it's time to refine them. In the second session, you'll focus on trimming your pieces to achieve the desired shape and form. You'll learn how to use trimming tools effectively, adding the final touches to your pottery before it's ready for firing.
