this June we hit Whitianga for the first time with support from local talent Corrosive Moses and formidable BandDotCom.
After a brief hiatus we're set to road trip our new material and clear out some cobwebs! You won't want to miss it!
HEMORDROID
Thinking man’s metal” and “smart rock” were terms used to describe the likes of Helmet, Melvins and Fugazi back in the nineties.
Hemordroid, both live and recorded, demonstrate their aptitude for driving bass lines, sharp staccato guitar riffs and pulsating, hypnotising drum beats.
Having spent the best part of 7yrs tearing up stages and earholes around NZ. In 2019 they signed with Muzai records Uk and had outstanding reviews of their debutant EP Bloodmoon. Opening for the likes of Spotlights, Beastwars and Heavy Metal Ninjas to name a few.. with they're debut album on the horizon, they hit the road again this winter to road test new material and spread the riffage far and wide!
CORROSIVE MOSES
Corrosive Moses know how to put on a show. The Coromandel trio's high-energy sets draw from punk, ska, and hard rock traditions, and combine attitude and impact with tight hooks and memorable choruses. They have performed at Auckland's iconic Ding Dong Lounge and opened the Wilson St Stage at Wellington's legendary Newtown Festival. The band recently opened for Sublime with Rome. They are currently preparing to release their first full-length album.
THEBANDDOTCOM
The banddotcom are a bunch of ragtag teens bringing the noise to the peaceful beach’s of the mercury bay. Living in paradise (apparently), they have made a name for themselves on the punk rock scene, delivering fast paced riffs, raw vocals, and hard hitting beats. With a recent third place at rock quest Bay of Plenty, this band is going places (apparently)…..
