Stop 1: Ontario Power Generation Visitor Centre
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Begin your day with a fascinating introduction to the St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project. Watch the ‘From Dream to Reality’ film, then enjoy a guided presentation by OPG staff about Ontario’s generation fleets, hydroelectric operations, and how electricity is produced and distributed.
Stop 2: Lost Villages Museum
12:15 PM – 3:15 PM
Guided by historian Jim Brownell, explore the preserved buildings, artifacts, and powerful stories of the communities displaced during the 1958 St. Lawrence Seaway Project.
🍽 Lunch at 1:30 PM (45 minutes):
Enjoy lunch provided by Tilly’s – Home of Once Upon a Coffee Shop, featuring a sandwich, side, and drink.

Please arrive 10 minutes before departure time.
Departure from the Civic Complex at 9:50 am
Returns to the Civic Complex at 3:30 pm
