Learn to dip dye with natural Indigo vat dye.

Indigo Dyeing Workshops Thursday 10th July 6:30 - 8:30pm
Learn to vat dye natural fabrics - creating a vat, a specialised solution containing natural indigo, a base and a reducing agent enables the indigo to be soluble and bond with the fabric to dye a range of different shades of blues. Contribute to the creation of a giant community tablecloth and bring home your own dyed tea towel or napkin.
In addition to learning about natural dyes we’ll enjoy a cuppa and chats.

This workshop will form part of 'Gather Round ' - textile project to create a giant reusable 4m x 8m tablecloth which the community can gather round for events, exploring how we come together and connect with one another.
