Dk Drifter Ranch offers a variety of horse programs including both English and Western riding. Horse camps, private lessons, trail rides, training and more.
Instructors offer a wealth of knowledge with a lifetime of experience in all different disciplines of riding. A small family owned farm where your child is not only learning to ride a horse but learning many life skills including: team and relationship building, effective communication, responsibility and discipline, work ethic, balance, self esteem, confidence, and more. Horse Camps 2025:
Beginner June 23-27th (not able to ride independently and tack own horse)
Beginner July 21-25th
Intermediate July 14th-18th(can independently handle horse and tack themselves)
Intermediate August 18th-22nd Dover fair camp (open to kids already riding at DK Drifter)
Advanced June 16th-20th (safely handles horse at WTC and tacks/cares for horse independently)
Advanced Camp Barrel Racing August Aug 11th-15th (Detailed agenda offered at sign up)
Beginner camp- 8-3pm daily, Fridays 9-12 with demonstrations to follow for parents. No overnight options for beginners this year.
8am-1130am Barn chores/grooming and tacking, 2 hour riding lesson, Barn Clean up
1130am-1pm Lunch and Swim
1pm-3pm Horse science, care or handling lesson, Crafts, quizzes, games.
Intermediate -8-4pm daily or overnight option.
8am-1130am Barn chores/grooming and tacking, 2 hour riding lesson, Barn Clean up
