George Strait Announces Flood Relief Fundraiser in Boerne, Texas
Country music icon George Strait has announced a special fundraising event in Boerne, Texas, set for the end of this month, aimed at providing direct support to those affected by the recent devastating floods across Texas. The event will also honor the heroic first responders who risked everything to save lives.
“The destruction our community has faced is heartbreaking. It’s hard to even put into words. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by these floods,” said Strait. “This event is about action—getting real help, fast, into the hands of those who need it most. It’s also about recognizing the brave men and women who answered the call when lives were on the line.”
Strait will be joined on stage by a powerful lineup of friends and fellow troubadours including William Beckmann, Ray Benson, Wade Bowen, Dean Dillon, Riley Green, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Kyle Park, Hudson Westbrook, and members of his Ace in the Hole Band—all coming together in the spirit of compassion, community, and country music.
All donations from the event will be managed and distributed by the 501(c)(3) Vaqueros del Mar Texas Flood Relief Fund, ensuring that funds go directly to those impacted by the disaster.
