As you may know, I’ve been incorporating mindfulness into my life since I was a lost, emotional windbag in my early 20s.
Mindfulness, and related meditation, has been an incredible resource for me as Idealt with life’s daily stresses...but also as a guide in simply enjoying life more fully.
Sensory experiences are richer, communications are clearer, and relationships aremore blissful when mindfulness is brought into the equation.
As I moved away from my officey day job early this year, I saw the opportunity to more thoroughly dive into my mindfulness practice and begin a long-held goal of becoming a Mindfulness Coach for others to benefit in ways personal to them.
It’s been an incredible time of growth, even in the midst of a lot of recent changes, and I’ve now close to completing an exceptionally thorough and insightful coaching program within the Unified Mindfulness system.
At the end of training this summer, I will be offering an 8 week practicum coaching class as a portfolio for my certification. It will be an opportunity for a small group of interested people to learn more about mindfulness and meditation,and how both can play a role in your daily life.
If you’ve thought about meditation, but were not sure where to start, this is for you.
If you’ve been concerned that you don’t have the time to meditate for an houra day, this is for you (10 mins/day is the ask here).
If you’ve tried meditation before but couldn’t quite keep focused on your breath or a mantra, this is also for you (I’ll be introducing 5 different techniques over the 8 weeks so you can pick and choose a bit here).
I’m looking for people who are sincerely interested in this class. There will be one 60ish minute Zoom class a week for 8 weeks.
To cover the time, online fees etc., I would ask for £40 for the entire course (as opposed to per individual counselling session in future)
You’ll be asked to work with the techniques taught in class for 10 minutes each day as homework, which will be enough to establish your meditation practice.
I’m leaning towards a Tuesday early evening class (5pm-6pm). So think about it, and let me know if you think this is the exact right thing at the exact right time for you. I’m sincerely excited to start coaching unified mindfulness, and would be more than honoured if you decided to join this class.
