October Line-Up
We’ve got a cracker of a morning planned.
✨ Ro from LowFlight G.E.M. will introduce Project Greenlift – a world-first made-in-Woopi idea creating ground-effect cargo craft. Imagine something part hovercraft, part plane, and 100% Aussie innovation. This technology is being developed right here in our own backyard, with game-changing potential for disaster relief, defence, and delivering supplies where trucks, boats, and planes can’t always reach. And the best bit? It’s designed with sustainability at its heart.
✨ Helen from the Vinnies Van will share how the service is making a real difference across our communities, plus simple ways we can all lend a hand. Vinnies Vans is an outreach services that provide meals and snacks, blankets, toiletries, hot beverages, and, most importantly, companionship and referrals where needed to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The Vans operate across Greater Sydney and in targeted regional areas - including Woolgoolga, ensuring we reach highly at-risk communities with additional wrap-around supports.
✨ Amy Gray – author, speaker, and founder of the F*ckit Collective – will bring her trademark mix of honesty, humour, and heart. With her motto “Softness isn’t weakness, it’s mastery,” Amy shows how vulnerability and kindness can be our greatest strengths. Expect big laughs, light-bulb moments, and plenty of inspiration.
And of course, we’ll have our usual round-up of what’s happening across the Northern Beaches, along with time to connect, collaborate and catch up with familiar faces (and meet a few new ones).
