September Event Line-Up
We’ve got a big morning lined up for you this month, and with CurryFest just around the corner, it’s only fitting that one of the festival’s hard working team members, Pam Fayle, will be joining us to share what’s in store for this year’s three-day celebration.
Adding a splash of colour and movement, the fabulous Katie Gasson will be performing some belly dancing for us. Katie will also share her tips and tricks for getting that belly shimmying – and if we’re lucky, she might even stick around to give us a few impromptu lessons!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Woopi morning without a touch of local history. With Buster making waves as the town’s favourite talking point, we’ll hear from David Greenhalgh, Solitary Islands Marine Park Project Officer, who will share fascinating insights about Buster and answer any of your questions about this much loved shipwreck.
Finally, our main speaker Jim Hillery is a Development Manager with Clarence Property who lives in Woolgoolga with his young family. Born and raised nearby in Grafton, Jim’s career in property development has always been shaped by his deep ties to the region and his passion for creating connected, sustainable communities. After time studying and working in Brisbane, Jim returned home, where he’s committed to helping the Coffs Coast thrive. His work brings together consultants, councils, and community voices to deliver developments that not only provide homes but also strengthen local culture, lifestyle, and opportunity.
At this event, Jim will provide an update on Clarence Property’s exciting new residential community, Swell Woolgoolga.
Swell is designed to create a thriving connected community in West Woolgoolga with a focus on walkability, green open spaces, and a strong sense of connection for residents.
The first release will include 30 homesites for sale with land prices yet to be confirmed.
Having been involved in the project from the ground up, Jim will give a first look at the masterplan and discuss plans for the area.
So get ready for a fun-filled, jam-packed morning of entertainment, networking, and inspiration – all served up with the usual scrumptious C.ex breakfast.
🎟 Tickets: $35 (+ booking fee), including a delicious buffet breakfast.
