Are you a woman in her 40s feeling unlike yourself but not getting answers from healthcare providers? A woman in her 30s feeling totally clueless about what’s coming next in your reproductive health?
Join us for a powerful, honest, and truly fun conversation at Books & Books with Lauren Tetenbaum, LCSW, JD, PMH-C — a perinatal psychotherapist, women’s advocate, and mom of two — who realized as she approached 40 that she knew nothing about peri/menopause. Determined to change that, she dove into the research, spoke with four dozen experts and hundreds of women, explored the media’s messaging and medical community’s approach, and synthesized it all into her new book: Millennial Menopause: Preparing for Perimenopause, Menopause, and Life’s Next Period. The conversation will be moderated by midlife wellness expert and media powerhouse Amber Berger and will feature the expertise of Dr. Jila Senemar, a board-certified obstetrician‑gynecologist and menopause specialist. This is a must-attend event for all millennial women and those who care about them.
***Please note: This event will take place at the Books & Books in Coral Gables at 265 Aragon Ave. Tickets are FREE and books will be available for purchase at the event. Can't make the event?
