Mid Autumn Moon Celebration

Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Moon with us through music, food, and activities! Join us at the museum on October 4 from 12 PM - 3 PM to participate. Throughout the event we’ll have performances, mooncake tasting, crafts, and mooncake making demos.

Schedule of festivities:
12:15 PM: Lion Dance
1:00 PM: Silk Road Music
1:30 PM: Mooncake Demo
2:15 PM: Appare Yosakoi
2:30 PM: Mooncake Demo

The Mid Autumn Moon Festival is a harvest festival based on the Chinese lunisolar calendar, with roots dating back millennia. This festival is an important observance for communities across East-Asia and South-East Asia, making it part of the heritage of many Coquitlam residents.

Saturday, October 4th - 12 PM - 3 PM.
Free. No registration required.
