Intro to Knitting Workshop

Want to pick up a new hobby?

Our knitting workshop will go over introductory stiches and techniques, how to knit a basic rectangle, and how to build upon these steps to create different items - giving you the basic tools to get yourself a new pastime!

All materials provided, participants will be able to create a knitted trinket bag to take home.

Knitting is a craft with deep roots that is often passed on through generations. It represents a link to the heritage of handcrafting and the sharing of skills within the community. Many activities now considered a hobby started as a necessity of everyday life. Get introduced to a new hobby at our workshop and check out our display of the history and heritage of different hobbies around Coquitlam.

July 20th from 12 PM - 3 PM at Mackin House.
$10 per person.
