Are you interested in learning Brazilian drumming or dancing the vibrant Brazilian samba? Bafo do Mundo Samba School invites you to our free trial session at the start of our season in Vesterbro Kulturhus!
TIME:
16:00 to 18:00: Dancers and musicians practice separately from
18:00 to 19:00: Dancers and musician practice together
(Free trial on 31/08, 7/09 and 14/09)
LOCATION:
Dancers: 1st floor to the right (Helgasalen)
Musicians: 3rd floor, large room to the right (Haraldsalen)

Please sign up here in the event, so we know how many will be joining the free trial. If you’re interested in continuing with Bafo do Mundo, the membership fee is 550 kroner per half year.
FIRST TIME JOINING?
Bafo do Mundo plays various Brazilian styles, including Rio Samba, Samba Reggae, Afro, Axé, and Baile Funk. No prior experience in dancing or drumming is needed—everyone is welcome, regardless of age (16+) or fitness level. Our teaching is divided into levels and we will take good care og you 😊.
What to Wear:
Dancers: Regular workout wear and flat shoes. Don’t forget water!
Musicians: Come as you are.
Teaching available in English if needed.
ABOUT BAFO DO MUNDO:
Bafo do Mundo is one of Denmark's oldest and largest samba schools. We are a social group with many fun traditions, including:
- Participation in Copenhagen Carnival in June
- Two annual weekend trips with theme parties
- Various shows and parades
- Annual open Rainha (queen) party with hundreds of guests
- Night outs and Brazilian parties
As a volunteer association, all our teachers and coordinators are regular members who work for free.

Vores undervisning er opdelt i niveauer for at sikre, at du bliver godt taget hånd om.
