British-born and Berlin-based DJ Mike Starr has spent the past two decades channeling his deep musical knowledge into dynamic sets and productions, honoring the pioneers who laid the groundwork for today's electronic music scene. A prominent figure in Berlin's nightlife, he is a regular at the city's most iconic venues — including Berghain/Panorama Bar, Tresor and Watergate — and has brought his distinctive sound to internationally acclaimed clubs such as Bassiani in Tbilisi, Elsewhere NYC and The Cause in London. He artfully navigates the worlds of house and techno with musical precision and an expert sense of groove, seamlessly weaving together the nuanced sounds of 808 electro, 909 garage, New York disco, Detroit techno, Chicago acid, and original UK tech house. After immersing himself in NYC’s nightlife in the 90s and holding key residencies in London during the 2000s, Mike relocated to Berlin, where he continues to build sonic bridges between past and present.

𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐑𝐀 is a club concept curated by Robin Flux, born from his passion for exploring the rich cultural heritage of global dance and club cultures from the US to Asia. Through his artistic journey that spans iconic venues and functions from NYC, Chicago and Detroit, to Tokyo and Seoul, he has developed an authentic voice as a DJ, producer, dancer, and curator. As an active member of the ballroom, whacking and house dance scenes, he is dedicated to foster community building and cultural exchange at the intersection of dance and club culture, internationally as well as locally, as the co-founder of Copenhagen-based sober club initiative 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐆𝐄.
