Miljøgruppen i Christianshavns Lokaludvalg og Miljøpunkt Indre By & Christianshavn står bag denne årlige begivenhed.
Vi inviterer til et hyggeligt, socialt, sjovt og ikke mindst bæredygtigt event, og giver dig en virkelig god anledning til at få ryddet op i egne skabe og skuffer, samt muligheden for at forny din garderobe – helt gratis!

3. Fordel selv dine bytteting efter kategorier på bordene.

AT BYTTE GAVNER DIG, MILJØET OG GØR GLAD
Produktionen af varer er klimabelastende. Derfor er det godt, hvis vi kan forlænge brugstiden af vores ting og dermed indskrænke indkøbet af nye jomfruelige varer. Ved at fremme cirkulært forbrug har vi samtidig mulighed for at bidrage til bedre forbrugsvaner. Få nyt med god samvittighed og oplev glæden ved at se andre tage de ting du kom med. Det er sjovt for både de store og de små.
INTET BLIVER SMIDT UD
Vi donerer overskudsvarerne til Fedtekælderen, humanitære organisationer og børneinstitutioner. Bøger fordeles på bogbyttestationerne her på Christianshavn. Eventuelle ubrugbare ting afleveres selvfølgelig på sorteret på genbrugspladsen – men sørg alligevel for at tage ting med, som du selv ville give til dine venner.

Som hjælper med opsætning af udstyr inden byttemarkedet åbner, byde velkommen og veje bytteting ved indgangen, holde orden på bordene og nedpakning og oprydning når byttemarkedet er slut. Vi mødes kl. 9, hvor vi starter med en kop kaffe og er færdige senest kl. 15.
Vi sørger for forplejning – og selvfølgelig kan du selv tage de ting, du selv har brug for og kan lide.

Once more we are inviting you to our swap market in the heart of Copenhagen, offering you the chance to give your wardrobe and home a new lease of life by exchanging your loved good quality garments and other small things, that you never wear, for new treasures and help our planet whilst doing so – for free!
The event is organized by Christianshavns Lokaludvalg's green task force and Miljøpunkt Indre By & Christianshavn.

ADMISSION
Your swap items.
HOW TO SWAP
1. Review your closet and drawers and collect clean clothes and small things in very good condition you are willing to exchange *NO furniture, outdated electronic equipment and videotapes*.
If you haven’t worn or used the item for some time - maybe it is time to pass it on?
2. Come along with used things in good condition you no longer need and weigh it at the entrance for statistic.
3. Put everything on tables, marked with categories. Ask our lovely volunteers if you need help.
4. Find and take anything you fancy and take it home with you.
WHY SWAPPING?
Swapping is a zero-waste, ethical alternative to fast consumption and contributes toward making consumption circular and having fun in the process.
By swapping, instead of buying new, you will help decreasing the overconsumption in our throwaway culture. Which we all know puts pressure on the environment, climate, and human rights. And it makes happy! Of course, it feels good to sort unnecessary things out, knowing someone else will use. It feels great to see someone taking what you brought – almost as much as finding your very own treasures!
So: stop shopping – start swapping.
NOTHING WILL GOES TO WASTE
All leftovers will be donated to Fedtekælderen (a day shelter), local humanitarian organizations, child care and books to book swap stations.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO VOLUNTEER?
We are always looking for new volunteers and would love you to join our team! It’s a lot of fun and, of course, you can take anything you fancy while volunteering.
We start at 9am and will be finished latest by 2pm. After having morning coffee or tea (if you like) we will set up tables in categories. During open hours you can either help registering new guests and weigh items at the entrance or keep the tables with categories tidy and neat and assist swappers, if they need help.
After closing we will weigh and pack leftovers up and tables down.
