Rough Music er et fællesskabsensemble, som hylder den hjemmedyrkede musik. Ensemblet har til huse i Union, og i løbet af foråret indbyder de musikere på alle instrumenter og niveauer til at finde hinanden i musikken og skabe nye arrangementer af sange af lokale kunstnere. Den legende tilgang i det musikalske fællesskab kulminerer denne aften med en perfekt uperfekt optræden under Copenhagen Jazz Festival i Union.

I Union inviterer vi til en række eklektiske koncerter, som på hver deres måde afsøger jazzens grænseområder. Du skal med andre ord ikke forvente dig traditionel jazz, men derimod en rejse ned til jazzens globale rødder.

A perfectly imperfect performance, leaving the rough edges of music exposed. Because what would music be without texture?
Rough Music is a community ensemble that celebrates homegrown music. The ensemble is based in Union, and during the spring they invite musicians of all instruments and levels to find each other in music and create new arrangements of songs by local artists. The playful approach in the musical community culminates this evening with a perfectly imperfect performance during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival in Union.

In Union, we invite you to enjoy a series of exciting eclectic concerts, which explore the borderlands of jazz. In other words, you should not expect traditional jazz, but rather a journey to the global roots of jazz.
