Hvordan kan vi skabe tættere relation og opmærksomhed på træerne i vores byer?
Acting for Climate inviterer til en 3 dages workshop række, hvor vi gennem kreativitet og sanselighed udforsker vores forhold og samhørighed med træet.
Workshoppen ledes af Charlotte Østergaard og Amund Bentsen.
I workshoppene tager vi udgangspunkt i Charlotte Østergaards praksis med relationelt kostumedesign – en praksis, hvor tekstile materialer dels inviterer til fælles fordybelse og desuden forbinder mennesker, byrum og omgivelser. I denne workshoprække ønsker vi sammen med jer som deltager at undersøge, hvordan tekstile materialer kan skabe nærværende og omsorgsfulde forbindelser mellem deltagernes kroppe og træet, og danne grundlag for en ny rituel praksis i naturen. Charlotte Østergaards praksis vil blive suppleret af Amund Bentsens kropslige og sanselige praksis.
Vi vil sammen undersøge hvordan vi kan skabe en ny rituel praksis, sammen og rundt om træet. Med inspiration fra myter og andet litteratur om træet, vil vi sammen finde frem til måder vi kan skærpe vores nærvær med træet.
Workshoppen forløber over 3 dage, og starter i et mere intimt rum, som gradvist udvides over dagene. Man er velkommen til at komme en dag eller flere dage.

Workshoprækken ledes af Artist Amund Bentsen og kostumedesigner Charlotte Østergaard – begge med stor erfaring i at skabe kreative, stedsspecifikke workshopforløb.
Charlotte Østergaard er tekstil kunstner, kostumedesigner og kunstnerisk reseacher. Hendes kunstneriske PhD afhandling Crafting Material Bodies – exploring co-creative costume processes fra Malmö Theater Academy, Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, Lunds Universitet, Sverige
Amund Bentsen er danser og instruktør, og arbejder i spændingsfeltet mellem kultur og natur, og arbejder med stedsspecifik scenekunst gennem scenekunstkompagniet Acting for Climate. Amund har en BA i Natur og Kulturformidling og snart en kandidat i Human Økologi.
Workshoppen er en del af et flerårigt projekt hvor vi i Acting for Climate gennem scenekunsten har undersøgt menneskets relation til træet, projektet munder ud i den nyopsat forestilling “Alive” der har premiere i København august 2026.

How can we create a closer relationship and awareness of the trees in our cities?
Acting for Climate invites you to a 3-day workshop series, where we explore our relationship and cohesion with the tree through creativity and our senses. The Workshop is hosted by Charlotte Østergaard and Amund Bentsen.
In the workshops, we take as our starting point Charlotte Østergaard's practice of relational costume design - a practice where textile materials partly invite joint immersion and also connect people, urban spaces and surroundings. In this workshop series, we want to explore with you as participants how textile materials can create present and caring connections between the participants' bodies and the tree, and form the basis for a new ritual practice in nature. Charlotte Østergaard's practice will be supplemented by Amund Bentsen's bodily and sensoric practice.
Together, we will explore how a ritual practice around the tree can emerge. With inspiration from myths and other literature about the tree, we will find ways to sharpen our presence with the tree.
The workshop takes place over 3 days, and starts in a more intimate space, which gradually expands over the days. You are welcome to come for one or more days.

The workshop series is led by Artist Amund Bentsen and costume designer Charlotte Østergaard – both with extensive experience in creating creative, site-specific workshop courses.
Charlotte Østergaard is a Danish textile artist, costume designer and artistic researcher. Her artistic research PhD-thesis Crafting Material Bodies – exploring co-creative costume processes made at Malmö Theater Academy, Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, Lund University, Sweden.
Amund Bentsen is a dancer and director, working in the tension between culture and nature, and working with site-specific performing arts through the performing arts company Acting for Climate. Amund has a BA in Nature and Cultural Communication and soon a master in Human Ecology.
The workshop is part of a multi-year project where we in Acting for Climate have investigated the human relationship to the tree through the performing arts. This project culminates in the new site-specific performance “Alive” that will premiere in Copenhagen in August 2026.
