Mini-koncerter i samarbejde med Concerto Copenhagen!
Midt i forårets store udstilling, omgivet af spændte muskler, lidende blikke og sitrende dramatik tager mezzosopran Anna Caroline Olesen, ledsaget af Fredrik Bock på lut, os med på en lydrejse til 1500-tallets Italien. Sammen opfører de udvalgte digte af en af historiens mest indflydelsesrige kunstnere, Michelangelo Buonarroti, sat i musik af komponister fra den italienske kunstners egen tid.
Vær med, når vi i samarbejde med Concerto Copenhagen kaster lys over en mindre kendt side af Michelangelo: Hans digte. Intense og følsomme digte om kroppen og sjælen – og om at elske og længes.
Mini-koncerterne finder sted tre gange i løbet af aftenen i udstillingen 'Michelangelo Imperfect'. Hver opførelse vil byde på forskellige digte og kompositioner og udfolde sig ved skiftende skulpturer. De enkelte koncerter kan både opleves samlet eller uafhængigt af hinanden.

Amidst the museum’s major spring exhibition – surrounded by tense muscles, suffering gazes and trembling drama – mezzo-soprano Anna Caroline Olesen, accompanied by lutenist Fredrik Bock, invites us on a musical journey to 16th-century Italy. Together, they perform selected poems by one of history’s most influential artists, Michelangelo Buonarroti, set to music by composers from the artist’s own time.
In collaboration with Concerto Copenhagen, we shed light on a lesser-known side of Michelangelo: his poetry. Intense and deeply emotional poems about the body and soul – and about love and longing.
The mini concerts take place three times during the evening, inside the exhibition 'Michelangelo Imperfect'. Each performance features different poems and compositions and unfolds next to changing sculptures. You’re welcome to experience all three concerts – or simply drop in for one.
